The Southwest Association of Mystery Performers is an organization created for mentalists, magicians, palm readers, and other mystery performers living and working in the southwest United States. Specifically, the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado, but we’ll welcome others, too.
Hobbyists, amateurs, professionals — all are welcome.
One goal of SWAMP is to share techniques — not only performing tips, but also business ideas, staging tips, etc. If you don’t like sharing, SWAMP probably isn’t the group for you. (Not that you can’t hold stuff back, but all take and no give would be a problem.)
The other big goal of SWAMP is to hold a convention for mystery performers in one of our member states every year. Yeah, a convention for us that’s in our backyard! Or close, anyway.
